A. No, under no circumstances.

A. All of our guns are built on a first-come first-served basis. The time to build your gun depends on how many orders there are in front of you when the order was placed. It also may depend on what you wanted done to the gun. A good example would be our Diamond Black™ or Hard Chrome finish. Either of these will add a minimum of six weeks to the build time. Guns that have our Perma Kote™ finish, and don’t deviate a lot from their normal configurations, average 8 to 10 weeks.

Another example would be ordering special slides without front cocking serrations, adjustable sights, and caliber changes. This can add months in some cases since they have to be ordered for your gun. The bottom line is that we want your gun to get to you as bad as you do, but depending on what you order, it may take some extra time.

A. That is privileged information that, due to a very competitive environment, we choose not to disclose.

A. Just about any type of national branded ammunition should work reliably in your pistol. Most 1911s prefer the 230 and 200 grain bullets. Typically you will find one type of ammunition that your pistol seems to prefer over all the rest. We do not guarantee hand loads.

Q. Do you work on customer supplied guns?

A. At this time, all we offer is complete finishing on 1911s with Perma Kote™.

Q. Do you require a deposit?

A. If the gun that is ordered is a part of our normal production, then no, we do not. If your gun is something that deviates from the normal, then we take a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of order. We also take a 50% deposit on all orders for Vickers Tactical guns and the 10-8 gun.

Q. Do you sell to dealers?

A. All of our sales are dealer direct. We do not use wholesalers. We can ship to any dealer of your choice. We do have a network of Preferred Dealers that keep inventory in stock at all times. Please check the Preferred Dealer listing on our web site to see if there is one in your area.
