The BDS9 Commander is the next evolution in double stack 1911 performance, now available in a more compact 4.25” configuration. Built with the same precision engineering and premium features as the original 5” BDS9 Government, this Commander model offers enhanced carry potential without compromising shootability or capacity.

Designed from the ground up to be a purpose-built double stack, the BDS9 Commander features a match-grade 4.25” barrel and a tri-cut slide that reduces weight and allows for faster cycling. The commander-length slide pairs perfectly with the lightweight, aggressively textured grip module for superior control and balance.

Every part of the BDS9 Commander is hand-fit by a single gunsmith, delivering the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines Nighthawk Custom. The optic-ready slide comes standard with a fully machined Novak-style rear sight and a fiber optic front sight, and is compatible with multiple red dot systems for those seeking faster target acquisition.
