Nighthawk Custom Action

The heart of any rifle is the action. Our action is CNC precision-cut from 416R Stainless with wire EDM raceways for the bolt, with the bolt release above the stock line opposite of the ejection port. Bolts are lapped and spiral fluted. They feature an extended magazine well cut-out to accommodate extended magazines if desired. Ejection ports are narrow to add rigidity to the action, but large enough to allow positive ejection. Anti-bind rails allow you to work the bolt quickly without binding. Available in right-hand or left-hand. Options include a Picatinny rail.

Jewell Precision Trigger and Safety

Jewell Precision's name says it all. Right out of the box they you see a fine precision-made component that has each surface polished to a jewel-like luster. Precision shooters the world over know that Jewell Precision is the Cadillac of all triggers. Fully adjustable, and set to an amazingly crisp 2.5 pounds on our Hunting Rifle, you won’t find a better trigger. If you prefer a different trigger-pull weight, then simply specify what you want at time of order.

Broughton Barrels

After trying a lot of barrels, Broughton's quality, workmanship and accuracy put them ahead of any other. Every barrel is hand-lapped for eight hours, and each one is individually serial numbered. Each one wears the 5c trademark. They are stressed relieved a total of five times, and feature Broughton’s patented canted-land rifling. Most popular calibers are available to accommodate anything from Varmint hunts to African Safaris.
