The Tactical Carry is a pistol that is made for the discerning shooter that reflects the craftsmanship of the Masters. Not only is it beautiful, but it is a pistol designed to be carried.

Per Richard's instructions, we shorten the frame and then attach the Heinie magazine well. The frame stays its original length, so this affords you the fast reloads that normally are only associated with pistols that have an extended magazine well extension that lengthens the grips.

Not only is the Tactical Carry a great full size carry pistol, but it is as beautiful as it is a performer. The slide top is flattened and very fine 40 lpi serrations run the full length. This gives it a very distinctive look versus any other 1911. The front strap checkering is extremely high cut which allows your grip to go as high as possible under the trigger guard. The Match Grade Barrel is held in place using Heinie's extra thick barrel bushing whose edges have been gently beveled. The spring plug beneath bears the distinctive Heinie logo.

Heinie's trigger bow has his personal lightning cuts for faster reset. The length of his solid trigger is a little shorter than the long triggers used on most custom 1911s today. Trigger pull ranges from 3.75 to 4 pounds. The accuracy guarantee is one-inch at 25 yards.

The rear of the slide features hand cut 40 lpi serrations that match the slide top serrations. The slide has rear cocking serrations only and comes with the ball radius cut. Heinie Slant-Pro Straight Eight Night Sights are standard, or you can opt for his new Two Dot Slant-Pro style. The slide stop has been cut flush and the frame is chamfered to facilitate easy removal and replacement. A spare extractor serrated to match the slide is included.

Prior to applying the finish, the frame and slide are hand polished, and anything that resembles a sharp edge is removed.

The Tactical Carry is available with your choice of Perma Kote™ finish, or you can opt for full hard chrome or hard chromed frame and black Perma Kote™ slide at no extra charge.
