Cleaning and
Final Inspection
|
When
your gun comes back from
test fire, it's
thoroughly cleaned and
re-lubricated. Once
again it's thoroughly
checked for any type of
cosmetic flaw or any
sign of unusual wear
that
may have taken place
during the test fire
phase. Once Rodney (top
right) is satisfied that
the gun is perfect, he
puts a nylon strap
through the hammer and
the trigger to make
sure no one but the
owner who cuts the strap
can work the action.
When you get your gun,
there is no need to take
it apart for the first
500
rounds. We have it
properly lubricated and
ready
to shoot. Just take it
out and enjoy it.
You can see what your
gun has gone through to
get to the completion
stage. It is extremely
low maintenance, and
requires only proper
lubrication and spring
changes at proper
intervals. It’s a good
idea to clean it at
least every 500 rounds.
You will receive a
schedule of when to do
spring changes with the
manual that comes with
every gun. |

Not
only do we build a
fantastic gun, but we
also carry the
lubricants and springs
that you’ll need to keep
it performing like it
did the day you received
it. Just give us a call,
or go online to our web
site, to order what you
need. Spring changes are
every 2,000 rounds for a
government size, 1,500
for a 4.25” size (GRP
II, Talon II, III,
Predator II, III) and
every 500 rounds for the
officer size Talon IV.
